The Kastom Gaden Association (KGA) has successfully convened its first Annual General Meeting on the 11th February. It was the first AGM to be conducted after several attempts failed during the past years. It is a one day of deliberation and reflection of KGA program activities and performance through various reports and presentations. They also have the opportunity to discuss future outlook for the organisation and the challenges anticipated.
A new Board of Trustees has been elected to oversee the smooth functioning of the Association for 2014 Calender year. The new Board members are Moses Pelomo, retaining his Chairmanship position, Dr Alice Pollard was elected as Vice Chair, Florence Nodoro also retained her position as Treasurer and Inia Barry Wickham as Secretary to the Board of Trustees. Ordinary members include Frank Tabai, Celestine Aloatu and Nanette Tutua representing the Zai na Tina Organic Farm. Almost all the members elected are not new to KGA program of activities. In one way or the other; they have been very instrumental in the development of the association during the past years first as farmer, PMN member, a stakeholder Rep and an employee of the organisation. The Chairman thanked outgoing members for their time and contribution to KGA.
CONGRATULATION AND WELCOME ALL TO KASTOM GADEN ASSOCIATION.
